Birdwatching Expeditions

Guyrá-Piranga organizes and operates Birdwatching Expeditions in the Encostas da Serra Geral, a region located on the border of the States of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul.

The expedition route passes through stunning landscapes, crossing the plateau covered by Altitude Fields, where Cloud Forests predominate, on the banks of rivers, Riparian Forests, in the valleys, Dense Ombrophylous Forest and Mixed Ombrophylous Forest. On the steep slopes of Serra Geral, covered by the Atlantic Forest, the expedition explores canyons of extraordinary beauty that are home to endangered and endemic species.
